Well, the proposal is done and off and that's all I can really hope about it. If I'm extremely lucky - and judging by Arsenal's season and Hertha's managerial farce, I'm not - I'll get a grant and then I'll be a real PhD and blah blah blah.

but that's still a long time from happening.

Congratulations on sending the grant proposal! It must be exciting, the thought of having it accepted.

ugh I'm not even thinking about it, because whenever I picture something happening it doesn't come true. also SO SCARY.
