ok loui, whats tha major upgrade with the dsi? and why the hell would they take away the gba game slot? the camera is cool, but i don't see it being a breakthrough in ds gaming. creepy mario picture by the way

ok... the cameras are probably the least coolest thing about it. the screens are bigger, they totally changed the OS and made it more like the PSP, you can now download DSi Ware games directly to the DSi via Wi-Fi, it has a SD card slot, and evetually, you will be able to download GBA games to it as well. there is a channel in the works for the DSi that will pretty much be like the Wii's virtual console. you can go the nintendo shop from the DSi menu and shop for games. Also - because of the new firmware and OS, there is a greater possibility of people hacking the DSi and making homebrew apps available in the future. there is already a card that lets you play downloaded DS roms on it.
no - it's not the DS2, but it is an upgrade. i still have my DS Lite for GBA games though. probably more than you wanted to know but there you have it.

but don't get me wrong. it is by no mean a "must-have." i'm just a sucker for nintendo. right now there's not a whole lot of reasons to upgrade but i'm sure the incentive will increase as more DLC becomes available.
