Louise - Hospital Update

Hello everyone, it's Jim again. 
First Louise was touched by all your notes and asked me to thank everyone for her. She is now out of the Intensive Care Unit and is in what is known as a "step down" unit. She is off the Bi-Pap machine (a really diabolical contraption though I have no doubt that it can be a life saver). She continues to be poked,

Jim, I'm very happy to hear she's making progress. I hope she's home soon, so you can celebrate the start to a new year together, as is only right and proper. My best wishes to you both, and many thanks for keeping us informed.

Step down unit -- hurrah! IME, a very good sign. And, eep, she was in intensive care? Poor thing. I hope that they manage to pin down the cause, but even more I hope that she continues to improve.
