I'm not really proud of my country anymore. Our current conservative government's complete failure at compassion and doing the right thing because it's the right thing is making me feel grumpy and sad and I don't like it.

Such wonderful news. Maybe not the biggest surprise in the world, but just wonderful all the same.

It's a pure joy to watch the conservative royalists implode with impotent rage over our new princess's and future queen's untraditional name. Thank you, Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary, you are only a day old and already a treasure to us all.

This SOPA/PIPA thing happening in America right now is fucking up my zen. It's making a mess on the floor of everybody's virtual living room. Everybody in the whole goddamn world. Also, it irks me that some oblivious politicians boasting their ignorance about the Internet to anyone who will listen should have any say in the matter. Dicks.

... and now the tub of manure that is my government decided to veto the sanctions against the Syrian government that the EU was planning to enforce. We were the only country against these sanctions, and one veto is enough to stop them. I feel an almost physical anger about this.
