Some sad news this week - Robin Williams died. He was a very funny sweet man, who by all accounts touched the lives of many people who have nothing but kind words about him. I've enjoyed him in many different roles and did watch The Crazy Ones as it was a return to television for him (and Sarah Michelle Gellar). I thought it was quite funny and

Amen. I addressed this on my FB. Depression can get your head so screwed around that you genuinely believe that offing yourself is relieving your loved ones of a burden. That's not selfishness. As for cowardice, I'd like to see the "brave" ones face down the demons Robin Williams did for as long as he did. Depression hurts, yo.

Thanks. I didn't want to offend anyone that ever had to deal with this.

But I just felt the need to rant about the unfairness of judging someone else when "you" have no idea about what they are going through.

And there's not at doubt in my mind that what you said about "relieving your loved ones of a burden" makes perfect sense.
