I just seen Ashes to ashes, to my mind that I remember 1981, bombing and wedding, I remember face of a bomber (as a IRA) but can't remember as in details, the wedding, yes, every bits of it.

Yes, I do remember bowie in his clown outfit, it was part of his song, I can't remember the rest, my sister used to collect records and posters of Bowie. (Not anymore because she moved to Australia)

I personally wasn't too much of a fan of "Life on Mars" but I was definitely intrigued with "Ashes to Ashes" as a show that would follow up such a series but do it in a (pretty much) totally different time and I can safely say I for one am hooked to the show! And as for that David Bowie clown thing, well I was more in a "WTF" response when I saw that Rainbow scene in the first episode. How the *hell* did they managed to get those characters to seem so creepy? Well, I don't write for the show so I won't know. X3

Yeah, I think Ashes to Ashes is more confusing. I don't get it. Even as I watch the first episode again, I still don't get it. Life on Mars is much more intelligible.

And well, maybe "Ashes to Ashes" will be a lot less confusing than it already is when the programme progresses...or maybe not, we won't know until we find out! Well at least on levels of confusing, it really could have been worse. It could have been "Cloverfield". XD

Shep seems to think that the Bowie Clown is the equivelent of the girl from the tv test card as seen in life on mars. This makes perfect sense because the telly test card girl had a clown dolly with her for like 20 years :)
