Getting Ready for the New Normal Holidays

Whatever plans I had half formed for the weeks around Thanksgiving were rolled back when my county retreated from red to purple COVID status.  Well, I knew winter was going to bring another spike, but dammit, we had barely moved into a less restrictive tier.  How many months before either of the vaccines is available?  My guess is probably around ( Read more... )

Supposedly the vaccine is going to be available in a couple weeks... but just to doctors and high risk folks. Last I heard, it will trickle down to the rest of us experts say "expects there to be enough vaccine doses starting in the second quarter of 2021 so that anyone who wants a vaccine can get it. Other federal health officials have said in the spring or summer". So sometime in summer is a good guess?

The problem becomes that something like 45% of people say they won't get it, and who knows how long it takes to kick in (right away??).

So tl;dr, I think you might be right.
