phone guy could possibly have been given the accent... but many of our students have funny accents and aren't 'international students' as such...

regardless of that, i hate being referred to as 'madam' or whatever... i have a name, my name is lou lou, i was introduced to the students as lou lou and this is what they should call me....
all the academics were introduced as professor or associate professor, and that's what the students call them... why can't they do the same for me?

1) email me from any email address other than their rmit address
2) fail to provide a student number
3) don't tell me what their problem with the timetable is and just say something to the effect of "i'm having problems. please sort them out. thanks."
