Pardon me, lurking again. I saw in your interests list that you have "Tempest" listed and I was wondering if you were referring to the group Tempest or the Shakespearean play?

I meant the band, though the play isn't bad either.
I take it you're somehow connected to the gaming conventions. Have we met?

Excellent. I love Tempest; Michael Mullen is an amazing fiddler.

I don't believe we have met; I see that we have several friends in common so I suppose it is possible I have seen you in a gathering.
I am connected to the gaming conventions, after a fashion. I generally just go to the Cons to see people and for an opportunity to dress up in costume. I don't game, or at least, I didn't till I played in amywithani's birthday LARP. Now I will be an NPC in palecur and racerxmachina's Labyrinth game at ConQuest. I greatly enjoy costuming so we shall see if I get drawn in. ;)

that's how it starts sometimes. They grab with the opportunity to costume and before you know it you're participating in plots and comedy. I may be at Conquest, so perhaps I'll see you there.

And yes, Tempest rocks.

I just got a tour update for Tempest; they're going to be performing at the Casa de Fruta Renaissance Faire on September 20 and 21. I've never known them to play at Renaissance Faire's before. I wonder what the Faire going folk will think of them?
