When my brother came over yesterday to take out the trash, he told me that his wife was in Pennsylvania with her ailing father and would not be back till later this week. Actually she is coming back on the day that he needs to go in for a second biopsy ... but that is another story ( Read more... )

Is it ok if I'm still a bit mad at him? I do feel for him though.

I wish God would give me a bunch of money. I'd quit my sucky job and come down there to take care of all of you. If there is anything me, my family, my friends can do for you up here, let us know.

You can be mad but I can't cause I know the whole story. And I feel so bad for my sister-in-law. If she has any sanity by the time she gets home, it'll be a miracle!

And yeah -- he could've called, even just to say, "hey, sorry I couldn't come over, but xxx is happening..." Five minutes, he couldn't spare five minutes, when he KNEW it was your birthday? (Is angry, because she has birthday ISSUES.)

I don't have birthday issues cause I usually don't give a damn. And my brother tends to get distracted when faced with overwhelming crap ... and y'all don't even know the half of it. So he is completely forgiven.

Plus he brought me Diet Pepsi and dinner last night ... so even more forgiveness...
