I KNOW! Of course, she took kitty into the house without talking with him after that, and told me I might need to foster her if there were any "issues." Fifteen minutes later, they were at my door. He'd walked into the house, seen the cat, and dumped it outside.

She's a really nice girl. Now, I need to find her a really nice home.

Poor kitty! I'm glad you're keeping the guest for a while.

I'm wondering how it is that your phone post opened as a .wav file when I thought they were .ogg's or .mp3's... is there an option to choose what format? I don't remember there being one.

There is now, for which I am thankful. I got to choose which of the three I wanted my phone posts recorded as. .wav files are easiest for me to listen to (.ogg files are a nightmare and always cut off, and I have to convert .mp3's first), so there you have it.

I just did a phone post last week - was it an option on the phone recording? I should try again, I guess.

Go back to the FAQ's for phone posts and check the settings options. It's in there. I have a feeling it's a newer one. You'll see a drop-down menu for the different formats.

What a beautifully moderated voice you have!

Thank you. :) The women in my family all sound remarkably alike, except, perhaps, for my grandmother. I'd love to hear your voice. (Hint, hint!)

I just looked at my comment- I meant moderate, not moderated. Probably crossed it with modulated in my tired mind. Drrr.
Anyhoo, you could have a job reading for audiobooks, lovely!

It looks easy enough; I'll give the phone post a try as soon as I can speak without croaking. I'm on the uphill side of the flu, here. I've scarcely taken time for email- 3 of my elderly neighbors are hospitalized, too.

It's a fine time to get a bug!

Well, strangely, she looks like she could be Bum's daughter. She also has an amazing tolerance- nay, love- for toddlers. Her highness does not like dogs, had a tick that had just found her, which I removed, and received a dose of flea medication.

I'm certain she was someone's baby at one point, but she was an inside/outside baby, because she kept meowing to go outside in the middle of the night, and I found a "present" unlike any I've seen before in the boxes (it wasn't dog, either) waiting for me this morning. It distressed her. I'll be working with her and a single room with a new litter box today. The good news is that I didn't spot any parasites...

Currently, she's being called Citrouille, which is French for pumpkin. Cole calls her "Sitrue," and we just shorten it to "Truey." Oh, and she's wearing a collar in case she goes outside.

So, ahem, wink, wink, do tell me if you have any other non-particular interest. ;)
