I've read some truly bad romance novels recently. Makes me wonder why a publishing house thought they were worth the paper. The plots don't hold together and the heroines make such obvious, stupid mistakes! Maybe I should give it a try myself. -
Does anyone cook any more?
I find myself eating all my meals at work these days...get there early, leave late....so I'm relying on take out and freezer meals. Hardly ever cook unless company's coming. Does anyone else have that problem? -
Summer weather!
NJ has finally got some warm weather! Not spring-like ~ feels like full blown summer. Glad to say the ac is working...hope yours is too. -

Holidays!
I hope everyone who’s celebrating the holidays is having a wonderful time with their family and friends. It’s a very busy time for most of us, but the work part ends soon for me (baking..cleaning..more baking!) and the fun will begin very shortly. Got everything ready to start cooking tomorrow for Thanksgiving...turkey, great veggies, cranberries, applies and pumpkin, stuffing ingredients...EXCEPT what I need for the gravy! Lucky that ShopRite is open in the morning. Whew!

Finally got power back after 10 days! Totally missed Halloween. Hope these October storms (2008, 2011, 2012....???) aren't an emerging pattern for NJ and the east coast. -
Avengers
Finally had time this weekend to go see the Avengers. Great movie! No surprise, since I love everything Joss Whedon does AND really enjoyed both Iron Man and Thor. -
