i know that you go to art school/might think that he's the last straight guy on the planet, but you'll be fine. take some time to focus on yourself--after all, you haven't been single since you were a kid--and some day when you're least expecting it you'll meet someone who can appreciate you and make you a priority. keep your chin up =]
well, here's a bit of an update.. i went over there a couple of days ago to get my things and drop his things off.. and he invited me upstairs.. and i was about to leave because i could feel like i was starting to lose it..and then his mom comes out and she starts talking to me, telling me she's making dinner and i just broke down and was like.. i gotta go.. and i ran out to my car and sat there and balled. she didnt really know what was going on actually. so she started texting me right after going..did i do something? if i did, i'm sorry! lol.. so branden stayed up there for a few minutes and explained that we were broken up but i dont think he said why or anything.. so i ended up texting her the story and she was all sad and branden was like.. a lot of people called me to ask if i was okay and what happened, saying we were one of the best couples they'd ever seen.. etc

well, good for you. sometimes relationships turn into habits that are hard to break for all the wrong reasons, so some time away to clear your head and refocus should help you figure out whether he was someone you couldn't live without or just someone you could live with
