Tic tock... Tic tock…

Time flies fast, does it not?

If you slowly turn back the hands of time, and position the clock to where you desire to leave it, you would clearly see that the actor was not once reluctant to visit the city of Paris. As a child, Yunho was like any other-reckless, striving to embark on adventures. At that time, the actor had never thought that going to Paris would be a bad experience. Now, however, he wanted to be anywhere else but Paris.

It was amusing how a reasonable amount of time would change every single detail.

He arrived in Paris on schedule with his loyal and hardworking manager alongside him. After his heated conflict with his manager, the actor felt that there was no one else on earth better to trust than Changmin. Changmin had been beside him ever since the very beginning, nurturing him until he was strong enough to handle the film industry on his own.

And now, because he was asked to come to Paris by his compassionate manager, he might as well pretend that he was happy instead of mourning over his cursed visit.

The movie staff would be as he expected-disappointed, irritated. After a whole month of delay, the actor was sure that the staff had been prepared to rip his hair out and offer him an irksome lecture. However, as he met the crew once more in the lobby of Hotel de Crillon, they showed no signs of irritation whatsoever. Instead, like all other film personnel, they were more than eager to work with Yunho. Working with an award-winning actor meant an award-winning film. Now which director wouldn’t want that?

Having an award-winning actor meant that there was a need for an award-winning actress. Although Yunho had terribly dreaded it, it was an inevitable event which appeared in the film industry.

Upon greeting the crew, the actor was also greeted by the beautiful and model-like actress, Lee Na Young. Her tall and slim figure blended perfectly with her pristine skin and long eyelashes. Any man with a correct mindset would’ve gone head-over-heals with her-that is, every man except Yunho.

She shook his hand amidst the lavish lobby. “It’s an honour to meet you, Yunho-sshi.”

He tried his hardest to veil the utter guilt which loomed within him. “Just call me Yunho.” The actor indicated. “We’re nearly the same age-there’s no use to speak in such a polite manner.”

“Yes, the two of you, take all the time you can get to know each other.” Changmin cut in, a bright grin on his lips. “The two of you will be kissing at our scene at the Eiffel Tower tonight.”

That had certainly grabbed the actor’s attention. “W-wait, what?”

The manger rolled his eyes, repeating himself reluctantly. “There’s a scene by the Eiffel Tower where the protagonist, played by Yunho, kisses his lover in the film, played by Na Young. The last time we had planned to film this, someone refused to show up.” Changmin eyed Yunho sceptically, hinting him about his irresponsible escape. “We had to reschedule the scene for today.”

Yunho nodded, still incredulous of his task during the upcoming few hours. After tonight, his lips would no longer be marked by Jaejoong’s sweet fragrance anymore; it would be marked by an unknown scent which he had no intention to smell.

He eyed his potential ‘lover’ from head to toe, realizing their lips would meet within a few hours. Like all the other she-devils, she appeared perfect-displaying not a single flaw. Usually, the actor would not have any problems meeting his lips with an unknown actress. It was all acting, right? However, after this month with Jaejoong, his initial courage dwindled, causing fear to dominate him.

He was afraid to give himself to anyone else.

“Are you all right, Yunho-sshi?” The actress asked, a hint of worry on her face. “You seem a bit pale.”

The actor shook his head, faking a smile. “It’s completely fine.” He lied. “I’m probably just a bit sick from the long flight, that’s all.”

Changmin was compassionate to hold a flicker of sympathy on his countenance. “Go upstairs and rest-you’ll need it.” He commanded. “Let’s meet back in the lobby within an hour for the filming, all right?”

The two attractive entertainers nodded, keeping their distance as they headed up to their individual suites. Yunho received his card key and elevated to the twenty-second floor, familiar with the memorable surroundings.

Ironically, his hotel room was the exact same as that when he last visited Paris. He and Jaejoong shared this suite together, and although they hadn’t committed any erotic activities here, the room was still swarming with the countless memories they had created here.

Trying his hardest not to scream out in frustration, he let himself collapse onto the large mattress, hoping sleep would conquer him. The tasks which were laid out neatly before him-he was disinclined to approach any of them.

Was this how he was to end up? Stripped of his own desires and forced to follow the film industry’s strict rules? Was he to continue meeting his lips with strangers, knowing that the kiss would hold no meaning whatsoever?

He didn’t want it, not any of it.

In the end, the beast only wanted his beauty.
