[Amelia hadn't intended to be seen, it would have probably made things more awkward than they already were, which was saying a lot. There was no real way for this to be easy, considering the circumstances of how she and Sam had met, and then met again. While that couldn't be avoided, she hoped this would at least do some good.]
[Unfortunately for her, as she bent down to leave the small box in front of his door, she had no idea she had been spotted.]
[The sudden sound of her name and the familiar voice made her jump in surprise. The box was still in her hands as she turned to look up at Sam, face pinkening in embarrassment.]
Um, I-I was just...
[Unfortunately, lying was not something Amelia was good at, and she knew it. Sighing heavily, she shifted awkwardly from foot to foot, trying to think of how best to explain her actions.]
I guess...I felt bad about making you uncomfortable before, so I thought about how I could help, so I...[Her voice trailed of as she simply held out the box for him to take. Inside, if he opened it, he would find a small blue gemstone, much like the ones that she wore on her wrists and neck.]
[Sam does take and open the box, and he's visibly surprised by what's inside.]
You're giving this to me?
[He doesn't know what to think. Barring that it's some kind of gem, it's a gift first and foremost. He immediately feels guilty for making her think she has to do this.]
[She could only nod in response. She still felt nervous, wondering if she dwelling too much on the matter. However, if this helped Sam, then it was the least she could do for him.]
I'm not sure why, but I know that magic of any sort where you're from is...something to be kept a secret. That's strange to me, since it's part of life at my home, my kingdom is the white magic capital of the land actually.
[Holding up her wrist, she let he see that the stones were pretty much identical.] That's a mystic gemstone, like mine. I've placed a protection spell on it for you. I just thought, you could keep it to remind you that...you're not alone, and you shouldn't have to feel ashamed of your abilities.
[Lowering her wrist, she moved to turn away, smiling softly at him as she prepared to walk off down the hall again.]
[He's still not convinced about all her magic talk, despite meeting and discussing it twice before. Call it an ingrained habit due to his upbringing, but he just doesn't trust him.
Nonetheless, the gesture and her words touch him. He's heard that spiel before, about how he shouldn't be afraid of his powers, but it's usually from people who want to push him down a certain path. When she says it, though, it sounds honest. That can't be completely trusted, yet...]
[She wasn't expecting complete belief from him, that would take time. Change like that didn't happen instantaniously, but Amelia still hoped that this helped in someone to at least make him a bit more at ease with himself. Sam deserved that much.]
You're welcome.
[The last question catches her off guard, making her blink a moment, before turning back to him. It was still uncertain as to where they stood now they were past the awkwardness, but she wasn't going to complain if he at least felt a little bit more at ease with her.]
[She smiles warmly back at him, happy to note he seems to be better than before. Still, she understood this was still no doubt a bit awkward, and she didn't wish to pressure Sam into accepting her presence just because he was a good person. ]
[Unfortunately for her, as she bent down to leave the small box in front of his door, she had no idea she had been spotted.]

[Sam peers down at her, groggy from just waking up.]
What are you doing?

Tha-Thank you.
[That doesn't even begin to cover it.]

It's not much, but it might be better than wandering around, right?

I suppose so. As long as I'm not imposing on you.
