You got lucky this time. Just because it looks safe, doesn't mean it is, okay? Maybe some crazy person's living on one of the boats, and the moment you stepped on deck, he'd swing an axe at your head, or something.

There are always so many unknown variables to these things - you can't just always believe what you see, you got that?

I've already finished prepared my specimen cages, so whenever's pretty much fine with me.

And why wouldn't that be okay with me? The more hands on a boat, the better, right? You can get a whole bunch of people together, and who knows - maybe one of you can help me run some experiments. This is just too good of a chance to pass up, is all.
