As he strung the guitar. He looked around at the crowd.
They were listening quietly. Some were swaying softly in time with the cords, while others listened raptly. He smiled.
He could do this for forever. He didn't care that he'd never be his era's Elvis Presley or be on the late night show. This was all he needed. A caring audience and his guitar.
