Have you ever noticed how much more often we all updated our websites before this whole LJ thang came along? I don't even know how long my site had been down, it had been so long since I went to it

LOL!, and it's where I WANT to be, it's just not what I have to make for other obligations.

Like trystbat I use the LJ as a cheat-sheet to update my site. So now it's updated every 4-6 weeks instead of almost everyday. But then again because LJ is easier I post more often so my diaries have more entries. I wonder if without this system I would still be bothering with the dress diary format on my site.

pinque's clique issue is one I struggle with, although I try to counter it by keeping my real-time, pure costuming content public instead of friend's only. My event and study pages have definitely suffered but time is the real enemy there I think. :P
