You just need to sit down one day and do some serious thinking. Sit in your hot tub late at night and eat some chocolate or something and relax.. just figure out who you are. What you want out of life. What you can do to change it. And then make a list or something of ways you can improve how you feel about yourself and your friends. Idk that kind of stuff usually works for me. I think that you can't just assume "oh, this is as happy as I'm gonna get, I might as well accept it." You can be happier. All you have to do is take one step into improving your life. It may be a hard step, almost impossible to think about and painful, but in the end it will be all for the better. It's always starting something that is the hard part because you have to do it yourself.. finishing it or the time in the middle is when everything is up to fate so it's a lot easier.
