Well my dad is a free man after almost 25 years. There goes the neighborhood.

I have a knot in my stomach today. Dad is finding out if he gets paroled out today. I hate for anyone to be in prison so long but sometimes I think that is the best place for him with his outlook and mindset. If he does get out I hope he just lets me keep to myself and leaves my family alone.

Hello loves! Thanks so much for showing interest in Trevor and being so supportive. Unfortunately things didn't go well with scanning. They aren't able to do treatment anymore so he is terminal but they gave him some meds to help kill/slow down tumor growth. Don't get me wrong...I sure do love my little man...but I really miss adult companionship that doesn't involve work. I never see Barrett anymore. I get off at 5 and he goes to work at 5. He is off weekdays and working weekends. I am working weekdays and off weekends. I feel like a single mom on the weeknights and weekends. Feeling pretty lonely. ( Read more... )

So Barrett and I take off our Saturday from work because his brother Ryan begged us to go to this family reunion in amite. None of us wanted to go but we agreed because it was so important to Ryan. Favorite part of my day is cuddling with my little guy till he falls asleep. Yesterday he turned 5 months and this Sunday is my one year wedding anniversary. Life is good!

I am quite certain I was meant to be a mom. I have never enjoyed something so much in my entire life. Everything I did to get to here was def worth it. I am exhausted all the time but I love it!

I feel like I haven't been able to process my grandmas death. She has always pulled through my entire life and before she passed I hadn't seen her since June. Maybe if I saw her recently or her house was still here then it would set in. Right now it just feels like she is living in Tennessee still. This weekend I had planned to drive to Tenn for Lincoln to meet my grandma for the first time because I had a feeling she was getting close to the end.
