:( unfortunately we live in a world where people will most definately judge you by things like that...but in all honesty a lot of people wouldn't even know what happened, they might think you have a skin condition or were in an accident or something, cuz that's a whole lot for a person to do all by themselves...iunno, i don't think you should have to cover them

On a rare occasion I'll wear short sleaves, maybe in the house but it sucks cause people just stare like idiots. Especially in school cause I hated having to feel like I had to explain it all the time when people would ask me what happend. The only reason I cover them is because I hate people staring at it and It hurts some people, like my mom, to see it.

jeez. i used to self harm but that was a very darl period of my life. thankfully they didn't scar badly but they did spell out words which is unfortunate, especially explaining to girls who've never understood self-harming. actually recently a sponge i was using had a really sharp fibre like a long plastic, it really is strange and i ran it down my arm without realising i'd cut an 8 inch line down my arm. now my flatmate is paranoid and gets nervous when i'm chopping up food.

in the first post it says "that was a very darl period of my life" but i meant 'dark' period of my life. it doesn't matter, it as just a typo
