I hope it’s not too shocking to say that people are strongly affected, perhaps even shaped, by their environments.  I think it’s truly the elephant in the room when it comes to success in a workplace.  And I’ve come to realize that unless I want to have a heart attack by 40, my work

I hope you never have to work in a place like that again either.... I feel like it's one thing if you're working in a volunteer place that the outside might be kinda icky... Like maybe if you're volunteering to help out inner city stuff, but they should make the inside of the office nice, especially your work space. At least, respectable, and you can bring personal affects if u like.

Lol, I like that at least on the bright side, it helps you become a better person, if only to avoid horrid office hell.
