-laughs-

For a piece that is pretty much dialogue, this is very strong. I love how logical the prince is - very much like most children are at young ages. They see so much, and learn from it, and obviously Edward has picked up on the fact that his mother is the one who is really in charge. I love the conclusions that he draws from observations! I also really like the way he puts down his quill in that very serious manner - I can see him with a face like "look, it's simple really, why don't you understand?"

Very nicely done, and so much conveyed in such a short piece!

I'm so glad you liked it! Most of my writing tends to be dialogue heavy as I work with it the best, but I've been trying to shake it up a bit...with varying results.

Thank you for reading!

Oh my gosh, this piece was so cute! I love that Edward sees the truth of the situation even if he's off on the terminology. I also like that Simon eventually gives in and lets him believe what he wants to believe. Yes, I do thing he would be quite the charge!

Oh so cute! I found the piece very humorous and Edward such a darling! I imagine he would be an interesting charge, too, but the stories his tutor must have would be priceless! I love how Edward does not seem to understand the terminology or gender titles correctly, but how he seems to understand who he will be as a grown man. I have a feeling he looks up to his mother more then his father, though? I look forward to reading more!

You know when I wrote this, I wasn't thinking about which parent he looked up to more, but I'm leaning towards his mother now though haha.

Thank you so much for reading!
