I've wanted both of those guys for soooooooooo longggggggg
(and then Yaracchi turns out to have a snake too, which is even more fun, whee~ (she's in my icon!))
but yeah, both of those I've wanted for at least half my life, haha. Never been in a situation where getting either would be sensible. Wahhhh. One day one day!
The iguana is super cool, too *-* I used to have a friend who owned all manner of reptiles, they had a whole wall of snake tanks in their dining room and the lounge had a MASSIVE terrarium with this huge iguana (okay, maybe it just looked huge because I was 9 years old...) it was SO AWESOME *-* From that day I totally wanted to have a snake of my own. Living on a farm would be so much hard work but such a good dream... *-*
isn't it funny? they seem like on total opposite sides of the spectrum of pets - a slithery rope of scales and a big ball of fluff. It's such a shame that so many people are scared of reptiles, but that's incredible about that old friend of yours. I wonder if it was hard keeping track of them sometimes.
Yeah, with animals that have a lot of fur, it's important to brush daily. They say it's a lot of maintenance but it just seems like common sense to me. I suppose lots of pets don't appear to have the need of daily brushing but I think it still helps because even short-haired cats and dogs shed quite a lot, and dust and debris can get stuck in their fur and cause allergic reactions in people who are sensitive. I never really knew about that, actually, until Mimu and I had Kipi and Mimu started having problems. I've always grown up with cats and dogs so I guess I'm just used to it, but this is the first time Mimu's ever had a cat in his whole life so it's a new thing for his immune system, I guess
