RP log #1 - Bonnie and Clyde (closed to Selphie)

"Your room mate and his friend seem... nice" Irvine said as they left Selphie's room. He smiled sincerely, they obviously cared about Selphie.

"Where do you wanna go for dinner" He asked as they walked.

"Yeah, Zell and Cloud are both realy cool!" she said with a smile as she walked beside the tall cowboy. She realy was greatfull to have Zell as a roomate, and already found herself becoming somewhat attached to Cloud.

"Um... you choose! I usually just eat in the caffiteria, so I don't know many food places around town," she admitted.

"I'll take you to the grill by the beach. It's real good and it's a fun joint" He grinned.

"Do you like music?" He asked.

"Sounds good!" she said, with a cheery smile. She could tell Irvine knew the town a lot better than she did.

"Music?" the small girl asked, looking up at Irvine. Her smile instantly turned brighter, "YEAH! I love music!"

"This place has live musicians every night"Irvine told her, grinning back.

"What year are you in?" he asked, trying to guess her age. He figured her was proably a young looking 18-19 year old.

Selphie hadn't been paying much attention as her and Irvine moved to a table and sat down. She was too busy watching and enjoying the band.

When she noticed Irvine said something, she turned to look at him, "Wha- Oh! Uuumm..." she picked up the menu and looked for the beverage section. "Ohh! I'll have pink lemonaid!" she said, spotting her favorite drink.

"Sounds good, I'll have one too" He told the waitress.

The young woman went to get their drinks and let them look at the menu. Irvine took the time to watch Selphie, somthing about her really charmed him....

Selphie looked through the menu, everything sounded so good! She wasn't sure what to choose from. "What are you getting-" she started to ask, but when she looked up she noticed Irvine was looking at her in what she took to be oddly. "Is there something on my face?" she asked, her bright green eyes wide.

"Cute little dimples" Irvine replied back, his grin growing some.

He laughed. "Sorry, It's jsut so much fun to watch some one who's enjoying somthing else so much. Maybe I'm jaded, but I've seen the mugs on that band before and I'd much rather spend my time looking at yours instead"

"N-nothing! Nothing at all," she said with her usual bright cheery smile. Realy though, she was starting to feel nervous again, knowing his age. She took a few sips of her lemonaid. Why should it matter though? She felt fine with him before she knew his age... she should feel fine with him no matter what his age! Besides, she was realy liking her date so far, including the person she was on it with.

"So, would you like to visit with me one day?" she asked. "I can show you the beach and the seashacks and the palm trees! And all kinds of things!" It was obvious she loved the island. "Or," she gave what could only be a mischevous grin, "We can find more trouble to get into around here. I'm sure with me around we can come up with plenty of ideas!"

Irvine tried not to frown, but he sensed the shift in her emotion.

"Oh, I'd love to" He brightened again. "Oh, I bet we could find all kinds of trouble, It'll be lots of fun" He grinned.

"We outta go over summer break...." He said.

"Yeah!" she said, punching the air. "Ohhh, but that feels like so far away!" Just as she was starting to wonder if they had a break anytime the waitress came again, this time with their food.

"Ohh! It looks yummy!" she said, looking at her own plate of food, then at Irvine's.

"Mmmm it does" Irvine said after thanking the waitress.

He dumped light dressing on his salad and began with that.
