Christmas/New Year Exchange: Rules & Submission
Hi guys~ As you may or may not have noticed, love_salad has been undergoing some slow but sure changes these past few days--have a look at the new profile (the rules and whatnot) among other things. The community's been at a standstill for quite some time now and we've finally decided to revive it. At the same time, since it is the season to be jolly, we would like to start off with a bang. So without further ado, we are introducing our Sakuno Christmas/New Year Exchange.
The concept? You write or draw for someone and receive a gift in return.
The purpose? You are spreading love to both the recipient and the community. (Come on, we know there are still some TeniPuri het shippers out there! 8D) Also, through joining such projects, you are promoting yourself as a writer and/or artist. So come on, stretch those fingers and get typing!
Rules
1. The participant must be seventeen years of age by December 14, 2008. Why this date? Well, that's when sign-ups close. And why the age limit? Simply because some of the content may not be suitable for "minors". We may need someone to vouch for you if we are uncertain of your age.
2. Swapping requests will not be allowed, unless there is a very special circumstance for it. This is why you have to specify if there is any pairing you cannot write or your squinks in general.
3. All stories must be at least 500 words long. We are encouraging all writers to submit longer fic though.
4. Stories and art must revolve around a Sakuno crack pair. As much as we appreciate a good RyoSaku, this is not the comm for it. You may include it, other pairings or a triangle for that matter, but please be reminded that we would like you to focus on Sakuno/someone other than Ryoma.
5. Your submission must be something new, not previously posted elsewhere. And it must be your own creation. This is a chance for you to show off your talent and skill.
6. The request is there for a reason. Please try to fulfill some, if not all, of it. Submissions that don't meet the recipient's request may be returned to the writer/artist. (Example: Please do not write something R-rated for someone whose maximum rating is PG. o.o)
7. Please do not post your work anywhere else until the exchange is over. Think Secret Santa! Let's keep the mystery and add some surprise.
8. Be polite to everyone. They've placed time and effort into their creations and deserve a "thank you" at the very least.

1. All submissions are due on December 31, 2008. This exchange is quite late, we admit, but we will understand if you inform us ahead of time about any problems or if you cannot meet this date. Posting in the community begins on January 9, 2009.
2. All submissions are to be sent to starian_princess at hotmail dot com, and must be in their html format. We will not be editing much when posting to the community. At the same time, submissions should be in .doc or .txt file for fic or .jpg, .png, or .gif for image files
3. There's a simple format for submitting. This works for when you want to post fic around in general.
