if the color of her guests clothing is more important than the fact that her friends are supporting her and her celebration of love, then maybe she needs to rethink why she is having the wedding in the first place.
Word. I cannot imagine inviting someone to something as intimate as my wedding and then telling them I only want to see in certain colors. Same thing with brides who are obsessed with losing weight, or slathering on the ridiculous tattoo-covering makeup. It's a MARRIAGE CEREMONY--not a fucking parade.
lol. I just feel like I barely have time to go get fitted for alterations--and this bitch is sitting around worrying about what her guests will be wearing?? Get a fucking life!
Agreed. The last wedding I went to I wore a black dress. Hell, the bridesmaids in my wedding will be dressed head to toe in black. And if the color of your guests' clothing is the biggest issue you have to deal with, I think you need something else to occupy your time.

Omg, if I were invited to her wedding I'd wear some hideously blinding bright color to spite her. Be like "I thought you wanted cheerful?"

And, sadly, about 75% of the brides in wedding_plans have their own special place in etiquette hell.
