I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been unable to stop crying since Nov. 4 . . . well, not glad exactly, just happy that it's effecting others as intensely as myself.
It's kind of an amazing time to be alive in America, and that website is just one piece of the movement.
I voted for Obama, and I'm glad he won. But I think it was obvious that he was going to win the election, so I wasn't at all surprised that he did. It's awesome that we voted in an African-American, but beside that, I'm just waiting to see if he's going to live up to all the hype. I'm hopeful, but cautiously so.
You're right, it was pretty obvious, but I still didn't truly believe it could actually happen until the day of the election. I don't know; it's really difficult to not be cynical when it comes to politics.
To me, this all feels really monumental. I'm just trying to take it all in and be grateful for it.
