Ok. For anyone who has read the first seven chapters and were disappointed...

The person who I originally got them from has also found the next 8-14 chapters and she said that the story is progressing so wildly, so completely UN-Stephenie like that it has to be a joke. She read me some of it over the phone and it's actually laughable. Like TOTALLY ( Read more... )

So where did you find this...I want to have a looksee. Can you send be the link? And just to play devil's advocate, SM did say in EW that people thought the released first chapter of BD was a fake because the writing was so bad but she'd actually wrote that. If this is as bad as you say, I hope it's a fake because there doesn't seem to be one person who has read it and liked it. I'm not a huge fan of the series but I'd hate to see a writer flop.

Okay...I've read the first 7 chapters and basically skimmed the rest of the leak.
I have given up hope on thinking it's fake because it seems real. I mean...I would love it if it was completely fake because
Well...why would she just throw in a child like that. But...all the quotes that we've gotten so far have been SEEN in the first seven chapters.

Have you read the whole book yet? Has your opinion changed? I've looked on Amazon and it seems like it's all true and there are a lot of people who feel the same as you. Let me know what you think and then I'll make up my mind whether to but it or not.

My opinion has DEFINITELY changed. I got the book at the midnight release and finished it at about 4:00 Saturday afternoon. I LOVED it. I was NOT happy with where it was going when I read those first 7 chapters, and the things that people told me happened in the next 6 chapters just seemed so outlandish to me but after readiing it, my faith in Stephenie was completely restored. I'm sure she will be answering a lot of questions that the book posed, but I for one really loved it. I just really wish that I had NOT read those spolers because I felt like for the first little while I couldn;t enjoy reading it because I knew what was happening next. Oh and if you go to WalMart (where I went) it was only I think $14.

Cool. I've been polling my Twilight fan friends to see what they really think before I buy it since I've always been on the fence about the series. I may check it out later once the hype has died down somewhat. I know what you mean about spoilers. I avoided them like the plague for the Potter Series. Glad you are feeling better about the book.
