It had been a month since Gackt confessed his feelings to Kamijo and both of their lives became better as a result. Gackt seems to be much happier and had a stronger hold on his temper whilst Kamijo's mood was always bubbly and he looked forward to getting home every day. Especially the days that he knew his lover would be coming over. But, never did they reveal to anyone even their closest, most trusted, friends that they were together. They knew that their friends would be happy for them, but they wanted to have a more stable relationship before revealing it to anyone else.

Gackt's sister had found a decent place and would be moving out soon. He had invited Kamijo to move in with him and the blonde agreed immediately. Kamijo packed all his stuff and moved in as soon as Gackt’s sister was gone.
To Kamijo this is was a step to bringing their relationship to a higher level. Being with Gackt is the only thing Kamijo wants now and it felt like he needed Gackt to live. He doesn’t know what to do anymore when Gackt was not with him. If Gackt asked him to jump from a building, he would probably do it willingly.

When You found out from Cha that Gackt's sister would be leaving he decided now was the time to ask Gackt about something he had wanted to do for awhile.
“Gackun, I heard that your sister is moving out. Can I move back in with you?” You said blushing, his fingers playing with the hem of his clothes, a habit he developed when he felt shy or nervous, in this case both.
If this was last time, Gackt would immediately agree. But now, he wants nobody but Kamijo. No one can make him feel so good and alive except for this new found love of his. “You. Errr, I want to be alone for a while. I just don’t....”
“But who will look after the puppies if you’re not around.” You cut in. “The last time you didn’t want me in because you didn’t want your sister to know about us. But now she won’t be there, so we have nothing to be afraid of” You’s eyes is getting red and traces of tears can be seen. It's clear he's taking this rejection as a personal insult.
“You, there’s nothing between us! And I just want to be alone. I’ll know how to deal with the puppies,” Gackt answered, looking straight at the taller man.
“Gackun, I don’t believe it. If there is really nothing, then why to you always come to me with all your problems. Only I know the truth Gackt. You sleep with me more than anyone for this past 10 years for god’s sake!” You shouted back “Doesn’t that proves there is at least something between us? “
“You” Gackt said softly, he looks away from the guitarist. “I went to you with my problems and showed you my true self because you’re my best friend. And all the sex was just pure sex all this while.” Gackt voice softens, just audible enough to both of them “I still can’t forget Kami. So please don’t have any hopes in me. Find another person that can love you back” Gackt lied. He knows that telling You about Kamijo now will be a blow to the taller man. Using Kami as an excuse is the only way not to hurt the other man more than he already had. “I’m sorry You”
You couldn’t hold it back anymore and burst into tears. “Gackun, I’ve waited 20 years for you and I’m willing to wait longer. I’ll wait till you’re able to move on even if it takes eternity. As long as it’ll be me and no one else at the end of the day.”
Gackt didn't know what to say. He never thought that You have such deep feelings towards him. “I’m so sorry You-kun” that is the last thing he said before running out.
Outside, someone heard the conversation. The heartache was unbearable. The tears flowed non-stop. And he realises the chances of being with the man he fell in love with is thinner than air.
