Does anyone know of any online colleges that i can take online courses for photography...

it would be awesome if there was.

if not...whos in on a photoshoot...im going to put one together for my potential new job, and for me when i work at cherises future venue, and for the fucking hell of it.

Photography is a lab course. You can't take it online. You need to take it on a campus. Take it at BCC, it'll be about $400 + materials. It's worth it.

If you're putting together a portfolio, start East and work your way West. Get nature as well as people. It'll show versatility.

yeah i have a small one started but i really want to get some good ones.
ive always done scenic pics of nature and crap...but im starting to get into some people shots...i have a few good ones.

In a general portfolio, you want a theme, and the numbers range from 15 - 20 pics per theme.

With each theme, you also want an artist statement. I gotta go to work now, but I'll pull out my old photo stuff and pass it along when I get the chance. :-)
