I wanted to crawl into the screen and hug fan fic Reid. GUH. If Reid were to ever see Luke and Noah kissing, this is exactly how I would expect him to react. I liked how you made this Reid acknowledge the fact that there was something... "off" about the kiss. Most people wouldn't have Reid react that way.

I enjoyed this story for its angst factor, and it had a killer last line. However, I have a hard time believing that Luke would go back to Noah after Reid misunderstood what he saw. Sure, it was a kiss, but not a makeup kiss, more like a forced kiss, as Reid observed. If Luke is invested in Reid, he wouldn't go back to Noah; he would stay and fight it out with Reid. Luke's very fickle here.

Thanks for reading, and yes, you're right. I was trying to have this be about he strong hold that Noah has over Luke and trying to say that he had been trying to fight it because of his relationship with Reid, but he just wasn't quite strong enough. It was hard to put that into the right words, so I probably made it unclear. And even had it been clear, I suppose it would have been a stretch of the characters' personalities.

You're very welcome. I loved your story, but I would have probably understood better if I'd been watching the Nuke story from the beginning. I only came in when Reid showed up. I just don't understand this hold Noah has on Luke - we see it pop up on the show, from time to time. That "our love was a miracle" line still makes me cringe. It's a wonder Reid didn't bail right then.

Consider yourself lucky to have missed some of the Nuke stuff. I cringe a lot nowadays when Luke talks about Noah, yikes. I've been watching since Luke's coming out story, and I really don't understand Noah's hold over Luke very well either, so don't worry about that!
