Well, we did it. Almost anyway. Now I have the unruly task of unpacking all my boxes and boxes of things ( and Abraham and Aesop's stuff too). I fear it will take me a lot longer than I'd like it to

what a beautiful house! i'm sure you guys will be really happy in it.
also, it seems that in the infant/toddler years, there's a neverending string of being on-again, off-again clingy. it makes sense; they're trying to figure out who they are and what they need (um, okay, well maybe that never stops). but yeah -- if i've ever learned anything from 21 years of being the eldest cousin of 25 younger ones who all lived upstairs, plus nannying full-time for two years, it's that.

Thank you! Wow.. 25?? Thats incredible. It must have been a HUGE house! I had absolutely no contact with babies and young kids right up until I had Aesop, so everything has been a learning experience for me! And you're welcome dear, I look fwd to learning all about you tooo! <3
it wasn't a big house (it was a three-family brooklyn row house) but my dad had seven brothers and sisters who all emigrated from pakistan after he did, so they lived with us before they could afford houses of their own. i always felt like a freak as a teenager, but now i'm really grateful for having had that childhood.
Yeah! The kitchen is like my favourite part! The pantry even has a light! And it has soo many cupboards theres still room even with all of my tupperware and pyrex!
he he! I'll ask the hubby and get back to you! Not having to do the dishes IS verry tempting.You'd soon get bored with New Zealand though,no chance of just hopping the border or jumping on a train and being in a new country here!
