I fear I will never ever get a decent website again. Abraham keeps putting it off, and the girl who months ago said she would make one has stopped replying to my e-mails. I'll take that as a change of heart. I just wish I could afford to have someone 'proper' make one, or find someone reliable to design one for me for really cheap. You know what I ( Read more... )

i am certainly not 'proper' but i have made a few websites in my time - mostly personal. you can see some graphical representations if you're interested. most recently i designed a business site for my mum.

i'd like to help if you can't find anyone else. i certainly couldn't charge since i really am rusty. but it would be good to get back into practice if you're interested. if not, that's quite okay too :)

Wow! Thank-you soo much, and your work is beutiful, 100x better than anything I could think up on this silly machine. I'll def. keep you in mind, I'm giving the boy about a week to get his bottom moving on the site, otherwise I'll take one of you lovelies up on your offers!
Thanks again!

My son who is home educated is pretty deft at web design, if your interested I could ask him if he'd like to do it as a side project.

My husband is out of work and used to be a web designer. Just an option. So, I take it you sell your crafts? Have you tried etsy.com? I did. Nothing sold though. Hmpf. Maybe try a wholesale route and sell to businesses that already have websites?

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind, I'm giving the boy a week to get things rolling and if he doesn't get a move on I'm going to find someone else. I would be easier for hi mto do it though, as I'm pretty bossy : P
Yeah, Etsy is a tricky one. I listed a whole bunch of stuff before Nov, when it was free, and I've sold about 9 things, but I have no credit card, so now listing things charges mum's card and I doubt she would be overly impressed!

At least you sold 9 things. That is great!

I rely on my husband to build all my websites. I have blushingbridegarters.com now and I need him to build bebewonderland.com. I want to start a vintage/luxury style baby business. I should be bugging him now since he is out of work.

You can't apply for a credit card? I don't blame you for not wanting one if that's the case.

You're lucky your husband actually does what you ask! I've been bugging Abraham for months!
The baby business sounds great, I just made some vintagey style baby clothes for a friend and it was so much fun!
I can't get a credit card because I don't earn anything! My partner provides all the $$ in our house : )
