congratulations on the weightloss! by mid last year i had gained about 20kgs so that i weighed the same as your post-pregnancy weight. i've lost that 20kgs and i'd really like to lose another 15. there hasn't been a lot of movement since about august, though, and it's frustrating. but it's a new year, with new motivation, so here's to that. best of luck for you :) i'm glad that the weightwatchers thing is helping. i've always been a little afraid of those sorts of programs. i'm a scaredy cat.

Thank you! I always thought weightwatchers was a bit of a fuddy old person thing to do, you know middle aged women and what not, but it's actually quite relaxed, very welcoming and relatively un-scary. : ) But hey, if you can do it without them, more power to you! I'd love to be able to save my $20 a week!

go you! & such a cute picture too, all oranges & reds, soft lighting. your tattoos are pretty cool!

but it's quite a thing isn't it, setting out to lose weight then actually losing it. i'd tried for ages to sort out my eating habits but they just weren't changing at all, i was just getting bigger. my sister decided to go to weight watchers & although i'd previously scoffed at that sort of thing & thought i was too cool for it, i said i'd go with her. best decision i ever made! i started learning about foods & what sort of values they have & what they meant to me emotionally & all that sort of thing. plus it is so exciting going to the meeting each week, lining up to get weighed, leaning over the desk watching what the lady writes to see if it's a loss or a gain. overall, i've lost about 25kgs and it's actually staying off now that i'm eating properly. so keep at it, you're going great guns!

Yeah, it's amazing how you can think you're changing everything, and try a whole bunch of things, and somehow you just don't quite get it right. I tried for ages, even at ww, but i was either doing too much excersise or eating too many suger points etc. I thinknow i've finally got it nailed.
congrats on your 25kgs! Thats how much I had to lose from the very start, and I've got 16 to go : ) I'm going to do it though!

Yeah for you! I felt so good after I lost some weight, though I was never that big. 135 pounds was big enough for me though.

I went on the south beach diet on a new years whim last year. It worked so quick. 7 pounds in 1.5 weeks about. I stick to what you eat on the diet cause it cured my IBS too!

Your a cute nudie!

I don't know much about the south beach diet.. thats a very quick weight loss though! And yeah, its amazing how weightloss helps with health huh? My neurologist suggested losing at least 10% of my body weight might help with my epilepsy too.

He he he thanks!

I gained a lot with both pregnancies (got up to 200 lbs.) and then lost it all and more! Now I am size 14-16 again.
It is so wonderful to get your body back, the best!
