I love to entertain. I love to bake and cook for people. I love to get the house sparkling and have people round for dinner. I love to get compliments on the food I make. I love to sit around laughing and talking over a meal. I love to finish with dessert

i agree with you 100% hubby even knows to stay out of the kitchen. I love to cook/entertain/eat/bake/etc. but stay out!!!!!

I hate it when someone else does my dishes for me. They just never seem clean enough. The water is too cold and you need a teaspoon atleast of liquid in a basin.

my family came to visit over the summer this past 4th of july. my brother and i weren't that close in the past. i was so thrilled that he was helping clean up after a great dinner i made, because it really showed his effort in extending our relationship. i totally didn't have the heart to tell him that he was scrubbing all the pots and pans with Joey's bottle brush, and that he put my china (gold rimmed) in the dishwasher. I just smiled and thanked him and waited until he left to redo it. Now if people really want to help, I'll ask them to dry or just bring the plates to the sink. I totally know what you mean!

I know how you feel...friends were housesitting for us and after that nothing was were it was supposed to...I was searching for the digital egg timer (the only thing in the house showing the right time) for two weeks! :)
