thanks! i have applied to five places so far (William and Mary, Furman, University of Florida, Stetson University, and Florida State University) and so far Furman is the only one i know for-sure about. my dream #1 school is william and mary, but it's pretty unrealistic. furman is also somewhat unrealistic financially, but i want to make it work. so we'll see!
i'm still alive here in florida. just a bit more preoccupied than usual. i remember that mix cd, haha, glad you can still enjoy it :). i really miss writing letters and hearing about the mozart street ladies, so be expecting some mail soon! (i use the term "soon" rather loosely, knowing what a procrastinator i am - but it is going to happen)
I like Holy Week as well. We had communion and feetwashing this morning, which is always so wonderful. Same for Good Friday, and especially Easter morning, with the Sunrise service and breakfast following. I do love it.
I think you are right. I liked the book better than the movie too, although I think it was one of the more well-done movie adaptations of a book I have seen really. I liked Jack Nickelson(sp?) as the lead. I have always seen you around and I have talked to you, so do you mind if I add you on here? Cause I'm going to.
the movie was done very well and i did like it a lot, i just couldn't place it on the same level as the book. it just doesn't feel like the same story.
add away! i'm always up for more friends. hey, the germans are back in town, are you guys keeping one this year?
i haven't practiced almost AT ALL since my audition, and that was in february. all that stress just totally ruined piano for me. so i'm waiting to want to play it again. which has not happened yet. but i think it's because i have crappy music now.
anyway 844 fulda avenue NW Palm Bay, FL 32907
that's me. :) (... i want to live on mozart street.)

yeah, we're musical burn-outs. hopefully crappy music just won't even exist in college, so this demotivation thing won't occur. yeah.
i am recording that address, and keeping it.
(yeah, it is a pretty sweet address)
