Oh darling Jen - I'm sure you already know how much I desperately adore this. Reading it is like standing in a summer sunshower - invigorating and hot and wet and warm all over. And I do mean all over....

Okay, here goes - it is almost unimaginable to me that you can produce a story with such beauty and tragedy all at once. Honestly, hon - you're amazing and your work gets deeper and stronger all the time. *shakes head in wonder* I never know whether to cry at the anguish, laugh at the snark, smile at the sweetness, or ... you know.

Favorite things:
1) the rain, slicing into Logan as he shelters Veronica -I see it in black and white with stobes of lightening streaks;
2) Veronica cupping Logan's cock through his jeans - Gah, there's something about it that's so hot;
3) this: I walked through broken glass to prove a point, you know? I don't even have to tell you what a great sentence it is;
4) and this: Honestly? I didn’t have much of a plan; unless fucking you counts as strategy. OMG - so much of Logan's whole way of ( ... )

Wow... very good chapter here. I liked the juxtapostion of the two scenes. And the pregnancy twist I definately did not see coming. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you will do next.

Oh. My. God. STILL in LOVE with this story.

Loved the paragraph about seeing Veronica in the rearview... so poignant. Oh... and rainy-I-haven't-seen-you-in-four-years sex is hot. ;)

Can't wait for more!

As always, Jen, this was beautifully, hauntingly written. I'm still not sure how I feel about Veronica, even now, days after I read it. Up until the point in the hospital room, she's still manipulating him to be and to do exactly what she wants. It's subtle sometimes, but it's there, and that's why I wanted so much for him to take a stand and tell her that he's willing to do the right thing--accept her and the baby into his life--but for once it's going to be on HIS terms. Their dynamic has to change critically in order for the relationship between them to flourish.

There it is, sex - the hook she’s using, the technique she’s going to exploit in order to crawl back under his skin. It’s not like he doesn’t recognize the warning signs, sounding for all the things he shouldn’t forget to remember. Still, it shocks him to find out how much forgive and forget he has left for this girl...There’s more than sex in her azure eyes. There’s longing and belief, and, considering they’re two of Veronica’s better kept secrets, she’s leaving herself ( ... )

What you said. Seriously, Ima just take that entire comment and nod in agreement. You even quoted the same passages I would have quoted.

Veronica being pregnant was not something I saw coming. At all. Which surprises me. To be honest, when I read the first two parts, I thought for sure it was going to be tres angsty and Veronica was coming to him because she found out she was dying or some such other fanfic cliche that I secretly love. Hee.

This is so incredible and I can't wait for more. I'm echoing the sentiments of the other readers, and I just don't know how I'm going to forgive Veronica. I felt all of Logan's pain, and I still don't trust her to not rip his heart out again.

Yaaaaaay, part 3! I'm awful at detailed feedback, but with that said. Not many people write Veronica so...honestly. It's refreshing. I adore Veronica/Logan but I'm still working on my Veronica love, and I think a lot of people can easily make Logan the innocent party but not entirely call Veronica out on her shit. So it's great to see what you're doing with her.

I especially loved where the flashback/real time writing met up. So excited to see where this goes. :)
