I realize as mods and writers we all have RL. As mods it's your decision what you want to include and when you want to extend a dead line.
That said, I'm sure I'll get soemthing thrown at me for this. Several authors rushed to make sure they had their fics up on LJ by the deadline. I don't know that it's fair that now people who didn't put their stories up before the deadline now will get the same consideration as those of us who got our stories in before the deadline.
If they had posted their stories after the deadline but before you officially ended the challenge, I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it. But they didn't.
This is just my opinion, I in no way shape or form want to come across as b*****. I just wanted to have my say.

I completely understand where you're coming from. But, that said, I really feel that the way we completely and totally dropped the ball wasn't fair to anyone who entered the challenge. I would hate for someone who worked hard on it and didn't ever post because of us to not be able to enter.
We really do appreciate that some of you rushed to get in under the deadline. But with the extenuating circumstances, this seems like the best course of action.

I can relate to tigereyes, since I killed myself to get my fic done on time - and whew! It was long. But there were so few entries and I am dying to read more finished pieces, so I say Bravo! for allowing anyone who can get it together the chance to do so. After all, this is really all about filling our desperate and insatiable need for LoVe Smut, right?

Ok so I know this has nothing to do with the actual first post, but i was just wondering why the page has a new layout and is called LoVe Marathons instead of Loveathons (i know that each challenge used to change the theme, but the actual way the page is setup and everything has changed)... just curiousity, not saying its better or worse!

After Veronica did the "faux lesbian dance" I think it would be very very interesting. ;)
