OH man...I loved this...that part about Dick...wow...so sad...and finding out he died...I almost cried! Then when she gets Logan to talk to her...and starts telling about his scars...so freakin' painful....that last part however...him in the shower, and her catching him...hot...and him tossing his towel on her suitcase before heading back to his room...hilarious! I love this story! Can't wait to read more!

OH man...I loved this...that part about Dick...wow...so sad...and finding out he died...I almost cried!

Dick's death was hard to write. Dick had so much he wanted to say in this fic... and Logan has a lot to say about Dick, too. You know, after Cassidy, Dick's uncomplicated became less carefree... and there was just so many paces to move the two of them through together.

Then when she gets Logan to talk to her...and starts telling about his scars...so freakin' painful

Definitely, definitely. But I think it makes him braver with her at his side, and God knows he needs to face some of his own pain. Even if he's trying to teach Veronica about trust, he might end up learning something, too.

I love this story! Can't wait to read more!

Sweetie - it's late, but I promised. You know what I like about this - everything. I'll be back to tell you in more detail, but I have to mention a few things right now. First, the real reason Dick didn't see the drunk driver - the part of the story neither Logan or Veronica mentioned - was some girl was on the floor, her head between his legs, going down on him. It's the only way I can accept Dick's death - at least he died happy! LOL.

Second: I almost couldn't bear it when Logan described Aaron pinning him down and slicing into him. In a totally good way, it slayed me. I swear I could feel the cool, unforgiving steel against my side. All of the fic is wonderful, but that portion is simply mesmerizing; I had to read it twice.

PS: When Logan's jacking off in the shower - there's no way you didn't mean it the way I took it. Cheeks. *shakes head, smiles* Nope. You and I both know you meant.... *snickers* Also, what, exactly is chocolate covered - never mind.

-smirking- You know, there's a whole host of inappropriate questions that come to mind with this image, darlin'. But Dick dying with a smile on his face... I am definitely willing to entertain the scenario - as you well know, since I'd already mentally tucked that in prior to the beta. -grinning-

Jen, honey - feel free to ask all the questions you'd like about studly Dick's demise - I have the pictures to prove my theory! (I can't post them, of course. LMAO)

As for Aaron's chilling abuse of his son, while I very much appreciated the scene (God, that sounds sick!) I also wanted to know how Logan feels about conveying the information - I know it must hurt to reveal the story, but does he feel any better for having done it?

GAH. Yep, this just confirms it: you're amazing. You writing is so beautiful and intense; the part where Logan was telling V about his scars basically broke my heart. And heartbreaking fic is always my favorite kind. I am so, so glad that there'll be more than five parts.

And I'm glad that, along with the angst, you always manage to throw in some naked!Logan. Lindsay very much appreciates that.

You know, the other night I got home from the bar v. v. late after I had posted this and I ran to my computer like a little girl (avoiding furniture and cats, as they tend to get in the way when you're extremely drunk - as I was) and the first comment I looked for was from.... Yay!! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. It's so much fun to write. The next part especially so... Logan's going to be spending time with his nephew, adorable personified, I tell ya. And Tom drops in! Oooh, I'm giving spoilers to my own fic. -laughing- It's just all around good fun.
