The characterizations are sooooo good! I especially love Dick in this, the asshole that he is. Logan wanting Dick to apologize to Veronica is such a wonderful concept and I'd be surprised if it didn't happen somewhere in the back story of the actual show. You set everything up for that very nicely, and I loved their banter.

I love the way you did the timing with this, as it continued to unravel, and the part where Logan gives his consent for Piz to date Veronica, it was so well done. The way you describe his gestures and his fake words, and then his feeling sick inside, that's just the way I imagine it.

“Damned with faint love…” He muttered, staring at her incredulously.

Oh Logan. :( This part, this was painful to read and so true. All the words that weren't said during the infamous "Do you love me" scene were right here in this. And then Veronica just giving him the little that he needs, was oh so wonderful. And the smut. Oh my. I think my temperature went up bu several degrees just from reading it.

Thank you! I'm glad I finally wrote something up your alley. :^D The time chunks were a little tricky, but necessary to move the story along. I'm glad you could follow the chain of the bet and its consequences. Underneath all his bad behavior, Logan wants to be the guy in the white hat, there's no doubt in my mind. Thanks again for the nice commentary!
