Word Count: ~500A/N: This started as an idea I was kicking around about Anna and Bates, but then when it got down to it, I wanted to tell this story first. So, I present to you my first Carson/Hughes fic! Sorry for the lame title; I'm rubbish at titles.

Awww this was a lovely scene. I think you captured them both very well and I can see them having this conversation about Anna and John. Hee hee!! Such great banter between them. Nice work for your first C/H!! :)

I am a newer fan to Downton Abbey stories, but am totally in love with Carson and Hughes stories!!! Love this!
