All of those things that you are doing, the swimming, the running, the jogging, the sit-ups, the diet, those should all be for YOU, not for some asshole who you just keep trying to impress. Tara, if he doesn't love you for who you are then you shouldn't be with him. You shouldn't have to try so hard to make somebody love you.

Hi Tara. I've been reading your journal after you posted a comment on mine. Thanks by the way for saying I seemed "normal" I haven't really heard that before (but what exactly IS normal?). Anyway, it kinda makes me sad (mostly for you) that you are having such a hard time with this guy. I understand how it would be really hard to part with him. Ya'll have a son, you've been together I'm assuming for a long time, you think he's hot (those are always hard to make yourself get rid of). But it doesn't seem like he's good enough for you. I think every woman deserves a man that treats her like a QUEEN. Like she's the only woman in the world. Not like she's the ones he's stuck with or she's the one he's with when he's not thinking about someone else. Matt (that's his name, right?) seems to treat you like that. I personally would hate it if the guy I was with (aren't ya'll married??) talked to me about this or that girl that he wanted to sleep with.
