Engagement Ring!!

So, finally, after a very long wait (ok, not too long, I am just impatient...), Nick has bought me a beautiful engagment ring!! It is a 3/4 carat white gold solitaire in a cathedral mounting. I am totally in love with it. He hasn't proposed yet, but hopefully I will be updating with the fabulous details of that soon, as well. If you all have any

my good roommate susan had a lovely proposal in 2002. they were at the ashland christmas parade, and she looks around and her boyfriend brad is missing. she hears over the loudspeaker "will susan harrison please come down to the front?" she goes to the front where all the floats are passing. there is brad on top of the float a la ferris bueller. they played their song as brad pulled her onto the float. he got down on one knee and proposed. of course they never got married due to brad being weird. it was still a good proposal though.
