Well, Coworker L and I certainly have had the Canadian Experience this evening...we walked up Parliament Hill in a mini-blizzard, oogled the pretty lights until we couldn't feel our feet, toddled back down the hill in our slippy work shoes, miraculously managing NOT to fall on our asses, went shopping at ROOTS, and bought some Tim Horton's. Well, really, all you needed to do to finish the day off was skate the canal and eat a beavertail. Sadly it's not cold enough for the canal to be all frozen over.

And DUDE, you're totally in my city. How awesome is that. If I hadn't spent the day doing the whole writing papers and studying for exams thing, I totally could have joined you for all the Canadian goodness! ;)

OMGIdidn'tknowyoulived here!!! Heh. Too bad I was also busy all day doing the "working" thing...we escaped around 5:30 and headed to the Hill. We drove into the parkade (my favoUrite Canadian word EVER), and there was no snow whatsoever...we emerged onto the sidewalk no more than 5 minutes later, and there was a BLIZZARD! It was insane. We drove along the canal, and wondered if it froze enough for you all to skate on it! We were kind of there by accident. We were a little lost ;)

I love Canada, man. Some day I'll be here in, you know, temperate weather :) Between the peanut-butter fog in Halifax a couple of weeks ago and the blizzarding here this week, I'm thinking Canadia just doesn't love me!
