Between school and town, Thursday morning before classes

Blair knew that even after the visits last night, he still needed to process the events of yesterday. So he headed out to meditate, but he still hadn't found the best place so he was just walking around.

Sometimes, you just knew when it was the right time for an early morning walk. This was one of those times. Aziraphale had left a plate of eggs and toast (which cheese, of course) on the kitchen table, and then headed out to stroll around town a bit before his office hours.

He wasn't surprised in the least to see Blair. But he was glad of it.

"Good morning, my dear. Do you mind if I walk with you a bit?"

"Huh...oh." Blair blinked and nodded before he could stop himself. He wasn't sure that he wanted to talk to the angel, or even what to say.

Aziraphale raised an eyebrow but fell into step with Blair. That was close enough to an invitation that he'd take it.

"I understand you've been having a bit of trouble lately with your protesting project. Is there anything you'd like to talk about?"

Fishing a candy out of his pocket, he added, "Butterscotch?"

Taking the candy gave Blair a few moments to stall and he fiddled with the wrapper before stopping and looking up at Aziraphale. "What did you hear about it?"
