Blair might have been allowed to sleep if it hadn't been for River, who was anxious to make sure he had survived the ordeal of kidnapping. She knocked on the door. "Blair?"
River tried opening the door. It was locked. But she could definitely sense Blair in there, although it felt as if he was asleep.
A surprise breakfast in bed might cheer him up, and hopefully make him less angry. If he still was angry at her. It was hard to tell from the dreams.
She returned some fifteen minutes later with a cup of coffee, a bowl of cereals and an orange. Oh, and the lock pick she had stolen from Jayne before leaving for Fandom. It was a handy tool indeed, and she quickly managed to unlock the door and sneak inside with the tray.
"...not the clowns." Blair muttered before trying to burrow deeper into his blankets. Then the scents of breakfast invaded the room and he peeked open an eye.
"Coffee?" He paused and searched his brain for another word. "River?"

"Blair?" She poked his arm gently.
