Ever since Jaejoong's gotten Yunho to join a lot of lj communities for cooking and bento-making and general socializing with the public at large, Changmin's had to watch as his defenceless, naive boyfriend's flist grow to the size of a small army. He normally wouldn't mind, but the thing is, Yunho's the kind of stupidface who is absolutely incapable of ignoring his own bleeding heart and would spend hours checking his flist to leave heartfelt comments on every entry he comes across.
Since lj is largely for self-pity and emo whining, Yunho ends up spending tons and tons of time slaving over thoughtful, long comments to give to his cyberfriends he doesn't even know that well. He leaves Changmin to fend for himself in bed, no whining or cooing or pouting Yunho to take care of, and it pisses Changmin off.
More than anything, Changmin hates being lonely. So when he checks his boyfriends profile page to find the number of mutual friends about to stagger over 200, he has to put his foot down.
"Yunho," Changmin states flatly, slamming Yunho's laptop shut. "Do a friends cut."
Yunho blinks and then looks up at Changmin with big eyes. "But..." There's something alive and breathing fire in Changmin's gaze and Yunho immediately shuts up to give the younger man a bright, obedient smile. "Got it! Friends cut coming up."

Except it's easier said than done. Yunho struggles with slimming down his flist, spending a few hours just clicking on the profiles of his friends as he debates whether he wants to keep her or him. Yunho's not good with defriending and it's primarily because he doesn't have the heart to cut them and not have them realize that they're no longer mutual friends. Does he post an entry in his journal about going on a hiatus and then cut people or does he just cut people and let them see for themselves if they're gone?
Changmin checks in on him once during dinnertime when Yunho hasn't resurfaced out of his room and finds that Yunho's cut a total of 50 people but that he's also added 28 of them back and that Yunho's somehow also gained another 30 odd friends from various other communities. In the end, Yunho's flist is even larger than a few hours before.
"Just tell them you're not adding any friends!" Changmin says as patiently as he can, "or just don't add them back."
Yunho nods but as soon as Changmin leaves the room and another notification pops up in his Gmail about a new friend, Yunho clicks and adds. Oh shit, back to square one.

Of course Changmin doesn't trust Yunho to do anything on his own, especially not when it comes to denying his friends anything because even if they're internet friends, Yunho's just as loyal to them as if they were friends he had grown up with. So later that night when Yunho's asleep next to him, blubbering on about something, Changmin slides out of bed and goes online to check on Yunho's status, literally facepalming to find out that his boyfriend's flist hasn't shrunk at all but grown instead.
The next day, Changmin goes on lj and leaves a frantic SOS for Jaejoong once again.

After his not so helpful talk with Jaejoong, Changmin gives Yunho another day to do the deed himself and when the older man still fails to cut off more than a handful of people at a time, Changmin decides it's time to get down to business and get it done. After all, if you want something done right, do it yourself.
Changmin logs into Yunho's lj, easily cracking his boyfriend's password (homin4ever2181988) and patiently clicks each and every one of the boxes on Yunho's flist, cutting every single one of his friends.
Fifteen minutes later, not only is Yunho's flist back to three people, he's also watching and part of only one community. There's also a nifty little date-out-of-order entry at the top of Yunho's lj declaring that he's no longer accepting any friends. Mission accomplished. Changmin's ready to shut down his laptop when his eyes catch onto something. Wait, three friends? Changmin double checks his math and realizes with a start that he's accidentally deleted fabjoong from Yunho's flist.
...Oh well, it's probably for the best. What's done is done, no great loss.
Changmin wakes up the next morning to breakfast in bed--Yunho's homemade pancakes and some bacon--cheerfully telling Yunho that he's already solved the problem of Yunho's flist for him. Yunho blinks in response, nodding slowly. It's only when he logs into his account a few hours later to see that his entire flist has been deleted that he understands what Changmin meant by "already took care of". Yunho's finger itches to add all those people under "Also Friend of" back onto his list but Changmin enters at that moment with a cup of hot chocolate and his itchy fingers are put to other, much better, uses.
