i watched this show about the 50 greatest commercials on VH1. they talked about a commercial where gerbils are fired out of a cannon at a wall......quite obviously NOT real gerbils, but some jackass from PETA kept saying how it was cruel....even though no animals were harmed. it's the things like that that bother about PETA. and other groups too...

well yeah i understand that. but also i understand PETA's concern because even if no animals were hurt it still makes it seem like its okay to use animals as "jokes" you know.
like the circus and shit.

I herd that in new york the peta people would stand out side stores and throw trash at you if you bought animal skin coats and stuff. I may be wrong. But I went to the poison the well show last week and some peta guy was there and he was showing a video of pigs and stuff in the slaghter houses. It was gross. Its not gona stop me from eating meat, but who wants to see that crap. pshhhhh.

good for you on starting a club. BUT

there are some things you should understand about PETA, peta is a horrible organization that aheres to the social understanding and acceptance of "beautiful" and "thin" people. if you are interested in starting a club and need resources i urge you to look somewhere else, the people for the ethical treatment of animals are horribly fat-phobic and are continuing to promote the idea that thin = beautiful.
