The weeks leading up to the finale are always distracting for me. I can never seem to keep my mind off what kind of cliffhanger I'll be left with for my favorite couple . This was just some soul soothing for myself, as I try to forget all the potential things I'm dreading in the finale. I don't believe anything in this O/S will actually occur, but

I was so thrilled to get your comment. Yes, I agree we have similar thoughts on many things TVD related.

I am extremely anxious about the finale. I wish all us DE fans could sit together and hold hands while we watch it LOL. I suppose that's what we have twitter for - metaphorical hand holding :)

I couldn't read this until I came down from the actual season finale. This was beautifully written, and in a way, I'm glad it didn't go down on our screens this way. I think the whole 'one leaving town' thing won't even happen now, and a whole basketful of other stuff will. But were talking this O/S, so I will add that it was flawless and tear-jerking. I'm glad Elena finally called him--I so hated that she let him leave! And the way you had her remember thinking it was a dream at first was perfect! *sigh*

I'm glad I didn't read this before the finale, because that was hard enough to chew as it was at the moment, and this is much more beautiful. I hope vampire Elena will in time see more clearly where her heart really lies. I can't stop hoping that she will indeed see it. There's no imagining otherwise.
